The Fender Custom Shop ’58 Precision Bass Heavy Relic electric guitar combines vintage tone, meticulously chosen appointments and hand-wound pickups for a top-of-the-line playing experience. It features a 2-piece select alder body with a lacquer finish and a quartersawn maple neck. The 1-piece maple fingerboard is topped with 20 narrow-tall frets and Micarta black dot inlays. Its sound is driven by a hand-wound Custom Shop ’57 Precision Bass pickup, with master volume and tone controls. Additional appointments to the ’58 Precision Heavy Relic include vintage-style tuners, a bone nut, 4-saddle vintage-style Precision Bass bridge, and chrome/nickel hardware. Comes with a deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity.
