The Ernie Ball Music Man John Petrucci Majesty 8 8-string electric guitar represents Petrucci’s unwavering demand for high performance and peak playability. Well-balanced and innovative, the Majesty 8 features a neck-through-body design, enhanced upper fret access, ergonomic in-line control knob placement and an advanced pickup switching system that effectively eliminates the delay between pickup selection. It offers an abundance of tonal choices, including magnetic and piezo options, coil tapping and up to a 20dB boost for extra gain when needed. Independent volume controls allow for custom blending of magnetic and piezo pickups that can be used in mono or stereo applications.

The John Petrucci Majesty 8 is crafted with basswood wings and shield maple top, paired with a mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard with 24 medium-jumbo stainless steel frets. It features John Petrucci Custom Slanted DiMarzio Dreamcatcher and Rainmaker humbuckers, voiced to perfectly amplify the tone woods and deliver Petrucci’s latest tonal range. Additional appointments include Schaller locking tuners, Music Man custom piezo hardtail bridge and matte black hardware. It comes with a custom Mono case.
